Bodybuilding Myths

bodybuilding mythsI want to talk to you today about the most common bodybuilding misconceptions as they relate to your health and well-being. This may be a very broad and deep topic because it relates to your overall view of yourself as a person. I will try to highlight the main misconceptions that can prevent you from improving your health, your body and your overall happiness.

Of course, the first mistake misunderstanding or rejection of the truth is that if you want to have excellent health and a bangin’ body then you are going to have to invest a lot of time and effort. Since you are interested in bodybuilding, (otherwise you would not be reading this article), this misconception is insignificant, naturally! After all, you do not believe this to some extent. You’ve started to look for relevant information pertaining to bodybuilding and becoming more healthy. You understand that unless you do something, such as working out and eating healthy that you will not achieve your goal of a healthy body.

Confusing Bodybuilding Belief #2

The second misconception is not so much confusing as much as it is a lack of belief in yourself. Believing in the fact that you can reach your goal. After all, if you have a lack of belief in yourself then why should you work so hard? Many people never try to get what they want. They make one or two pathetic attempts and seeing no results so they give up. Nothing that is worth having is obtained at once!

Result are given to those who did not give up and only those who do not quit achieve their goals. This means any goal no matter if it is losing belly fat, building strong muscles through bodybuilding or any skill or dream that you desire in your life. How many times does the child fall before he learns to walk? The answer is in the question, my friend! He falls until he learns to walk! Realize this simple fact and get what you want! This applies to everything in this life and especially to working out and living a healthy lifestyle.

Bodybuilding Misconception #3

The third misconception on my list is specifically about bodybuilding and it sounds like this: “Bodybuilding is very hard, difficult, dangerous and it’s not for me … (or whatever the specific words are that you tell yourself).” There are many variations of these thoughts, but the essence is the same. Roughly speaking, this is your excuse and it is only your excuse for yourself! Everyone can have his own one.

They proclaim with confidence that they can’t have ripped abs or a trim, toned body. They think to themself that you need to work out all day long or take drugs if you really want to look good. I wonder what is your excuse for not improving your body and is it based in fact or is it a falicy?

The Fourth Bodybuilding Falicy

This is an out and out lie! Excellent results can be obtained without steroids and even without such conventional additives such as proteins and Creatine. The main thing is to ensure a balanced diet if you wish to lose weight and build muscles. The role of chemical additives in bodybuilding is greatly exaggerated. This is due to the profits that the manufacturers wish to receive from these supplements. Do not believe the advertising!

The Worst Bodybuilding Myth

The fifth and final misconception when it comes to bodybuilding and building and maintaining a healthy body is that you have to work in the gym almost every day for at least an hour or two. The harder you work out the better and faster you will see results from bodybuilding, right? This is far from the truth! This might seem logical at first, but it is fundamentally untrue! Of course, this does not mean that you do not have to work hard at all, or that it is enough to practice for 10-15 minutes and you will see success. You need to know why our muscles grow and what keeps them from growing.
